CASTLE ROCK’S NEWEST PRIVATE SCHOOL
CELEBRATES GRAND OPENING WITH THE COMMUNITY

Castle Rock, CO – Castle Rock’s newest private Christian school will hold a community-wide
Grand Opening when it opens on September 6, 2017 with nearly 100 new students from
throughout Douglas County. The school will offer classes from Pre-school through 8 th grade and
is currently accepting students for fall enrollment. Interested parents can visit
www.kingswaychristianacademy.org for more information or to register. “We are thrilled to be
offering a new choice for parents in Douglas County,” says Torrence Jackson, Director of
KingsWay Christian Academy, “our teachers have 60 years of combined teaching experience and
the majority of them have their Master’s degrees. We’re going to offer an excellent, faith-based
education for kids and we’re excited to launch. We know this school will be a huge asset to the
community.”
Located just off I-25 and Founders Parkway at 4760 Castleton Way, the school is easily
accessible to families from Monument to Lone Tree. KingsWay Christian Academy is an inter-
denominational school and is not affiliated with any church. “All denominations are welcome,”
says Jackson, “we’re a bible-based school open to Christian and non-Christian families which is
why we’re inviting the entire community of Castle Rock and Douglas County to come see us at
our Grand Opening!” Jackson says the school has a simple philosophy -- “Encounter, Equip and
Excel” -- create an atmosphere for students to encounter the fullness and love of God, equip
them to become critical thinkers and servant leaders and excel in all areas of life by embracing
their God-given identity.
Jackson has extensive experience in educational leadership spanning more than fifteen years.
He started his career in Florida, leading faith-based schools, then moved to Colorado for an
opportunity with Denver Public Schools to lead College View Elementary. He was loved for his
unique approach to developing leadership skills while building children up to have an attitude of
self-worth. “This whole experience has been an amazing faith journey,” says Brad Pearse, parent
at KingsWay Christian Academy. “I know God has great plans for this school and I’m so grateful
my kids have the opportunity to be impacted in such a powerful way. The legacy of this school,
with its faith-based education, will last for many generations to come.”
